Throughout the year, the Florida Lottery participates in local events and radio remotes across the state, providing community outreach and support. Taking part in these events helps the Lottery to increase public awareness of the Lottery's commitment to education. The following is a listing of events where the Florida Lottery is participating.

The St. Marks Stone Crab Festival, St. Marks
The St. Marks Stone Crab Festival has been an annual event since 1997. The event is a celebration of the opening of stone crab season in October. The festival hosts thousands of visitors and provides a venue for local musicians and artisans. In addition to the great food and music, attractions include a parade, children's activities, educational displays, and dozens of vendors. The Florida Lottery Showvan will be on site serving as the main entertainment stage.

BRITTO™ On-Field Presentation and Ticket Reveal
During the November 2, 2014, Miami Dolphins vs. San Diego Chargers home game, the Florida Lottery will be prominently featured in the Halftime Show. In partnership with internationally renowned artist, Romero Britto, the Lottery will unveil an oversized BRITTO™ Scratch-Off ticket to the crowd and one lucky section of fans 18 years or older, will win complimentary BRITTO™ Scratch-Off tickets.

The Jacksonville Fair brings in over 500,000 visitors each year. The purpose is to entertain, education, and inform the people of Jacksonville and the surrounding areas about agriculture, horticulture, science, and the arts. The Volusia County Fair & Youth Show provides a place for youth to learn and show their livestock products; residents of Volusia County are encouraged to participate in art, photography, music, agriculture, horticulture, home and craft projects. The fair gives students an opportunity to showcase their talents while competing for awards. The North Florida Fair is one of the premier events in Leon County. This a 12-day event that features food, live music, a petting zoo, local arts and crafts and carnival rides. The Pointer Sister and Cole Swindell will headline the Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival. This marks the 27th year for what has become one on the most highly regarded music events on the Treasure Coast. The Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival will take place in the streets of historic downtown Jensen Beach. The Florida Lottery Showvan will be on site serving as the entertainment stage.

Winn-Dixie Radio Remote with Danica Patrick
The Florida Lottery and Danica Patrick are teaming up with Winn-Dixie to celebrate the Ford Championship Weekend in Homestead-Miami. This event will be a tremendous opportunity for race fans to learn more about the Florida Lottery's role in funding education and meet world-renowned driver, Danica Patrick.
Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for Danica Patrick to answer live at the event and enter to win grandstand tickets for each of the Ford EcoBoost events at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. The Florida Lottery will also be giving away Scratch-Off tickets and Danica Patrick Hero Cards. Additionally, the Lottery will hold drawings for a chance to win a private "Meet and Greet" with Danica Patrick. Danica will also be signing autographs for the first 100 people on-site.

One of the largest events in St. Petersburg, with attendance at 65,000 plus. This all day, all weekend family event features live music, food and craft vendors, family areas and a "cool" car show. Market Days 2014 will be held on the first weekend of December at the North Florida Fairgrounds.
