NEW JERSEY WOMAN CLAIMS
$4 MILLION MEGA MILLIONS® PRIZE
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Renae LaPrete, 65, of Lakewood, New Jersey, claimed a $4 million MEGA MILLIONS® prize from the drawing held on Friday, June 29, 2018. The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers, but did not match the Mega Ball.
LaPrete purchased her winning ticket at Publix, located at 95 US Highway 1 in Jupiter. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. Total ticket sales for this series of MEGA MILLIONS rollovers have generated more than $18.2 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
Since joining MEGA MILLIONS in 2013, the game has generated more than $352 million for education, and has awarded more than $606.5 million in prizes to 41.5 million players. The next MEGA MILLIONS drawing will be held Tuesday, July 24, at 11:00 p.m. ET with an estimated $493 million jackpot.
